How I Create My Prints
My prints start the same way as my cards, out in the moorland with my camera, waiting.
Sometimes it’s a quiet moment with a robin outside my window. Other times it’s standing for hours in the moorland, watching and waiting for the barn owl to appear and begin flying across the fields. Wildlife doesn’t work to a schedule, so patience is a big part of what I do. There are cold evenings, long waits, and plenty of times when nothing happens at all.
But when everything comes together, the light, the movement, the timing, that is the moment I am looking for.
When I get home, I carefully go through the images and choose the ones that truly stand out. Every print is from a moment I was there to witness.
My prints are produced to a high quality so the detail, colour and atmosphere are preserved properly. I want you to feel the stillness of the moorland, the focus of a bird in flight, or the calm of a quiet morning every time you look at it.
