Most of my cards start with me out in the moorland with my camera.

I spend a lot of time waiting for the right moment. Sometimes it’s a robin landing in the perfect spot outside my window. Other times I’ve stood for hours in the moorland, watching and waiting for the barn owl to come out and start flying around. Sometimes nothing happens. Sometimes it’s freezing. And sometimes you get that one perfect second and that’s where a new card begins.​

I don’t rush it. Wildlife doesn’t work on a schedule, so a lot of what I do is about patience. It’s about being quiet, paying attention, and noticing the small details

When I get home, I go through the photos and choose the ones that feel right.  Every photo you see is one I’ve taken and experienced in that moment.

​

Once I’m happy with the image, it’s printed onto quality card so it looks and feels great when you hold it.

 

I keep the designs simple because I want the photograph to do the talking.

​Every card comes from a real moment I’ve experienced, whether that’s outside my window or standing out in the moorland in the cold. And when you send one, you’re sharing a genuine piece of that moment with someone else.
